Industrial chemistry concludes that the numbers reflect the quality and responsibility of the cooperative. “It is a source of pride to be able to work in a company that, in addition to producing quality food, is concerned with producing in accordance with legislation, contributing to the environment”, he highlights.

Method used

To record the results, the GHG Protocol approach was applied, a tool used by companies and governments around the world to implement GHG inventories.

The objective of launching the Brazilian GHG Protocol program, which meets the specifications of ISO 14,064, is to improve the technical and institutional capacity of companies to manage GHG emissions through the dissemination of the calculation and reporting methodology of this tool. The GHG Protocol is one of the main tools for identifying and calculating greenhouse gas emissions and supporting their management.
