C.Vale Poultry Slaughterhouse Earns BRC Recertification with Top Score in Unannounced Audit

AA+ Rating Reinforces the Cooperative’s Commitment to Food Quality and Safety

São Paulo, August 19, 2025 – The C.Vale poultry slaughterhouse has been recertified under the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Version 9) following an audit conducted by QIMA from August 12 to 15. The facility received an AA+ rating, the highest possible certification level.

What sets this rating apart is the “+”. While an AA rating already represents the top evaluation in a scheduled audit, AA+ is awarded exclusively in unannounced audits, where auditors arrive without prior notice. This format ensures that the assessed standards reflect the company’s actual daily operations, demonstrating C.Vale’s consistency in maintaining high levels of food quality and safety.

According to Neivaldo Burin, manager of the industrial plant, the result is a reflection of collective dedication. “The AA+ rating in the BRC audit reflects the commitment and care of our employees toward the quality of our products. For clients and consumers, it is a guarantee that C.Vale prioritizes food quality and safety,” he emphasized.

With this new recertification, C.Vale reaffirms its alignment with global food safety requirements, strengthening customer and consumer trust across different markets.
