C.Vale recognized with three awards at the 2024/25 Estadão Empresas Mais

Cooperative earns national recognition for innovation, sustainability, and performance in agribusiness

C.Vale stood out as one of the top honorees at the 2024/25 Estadão Empresas Mais Awards, receiving two first-place and one second-place trophies across multiple categories. The awards ceremony took place on April 10 in São Paulo and was organized by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, in partnership with the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA) and risk rating agency Austin Rating.

The ranking, which evaluated 1,500 companies from across Brazil, was based on criteria such as revenue, profitability, and net equity, as defined by Austin Rating. According to this methodology, C.Vale secured second place in the Agriculture and Livestock segment, reaffirming its leadership position in the agribusiness sector.

In addition to financial performance, the award also assessed companies through ESG indicators — which cover environmental, social, and governance practices. In this area, C.Vale achieved first place in both the Innovation & Technology and Sustainability & Climate Change categories, solidifying its alignment with global best practices in sustainable development.

According to Alfredo Lang, President of C.Vale, the recognition reflects the cooperative’s strategic direction. “We are executing a long-term plan focused on efficiency and new technologies, while remaining committed to the sustainability of our operations,” he stated.

Headquartered in Paraná and active in several Brazilian states, C.Vale is one of the largest agro-industrial cooperatives in the country, with strong operations in grains, protein production, and industrial processing. The awards underscore not only its solid economic performance but also its dedication to innovation and social-environmental responsibility.
